Title: Merlin the Magic Mouse and the Heckling Hound  Summary: Merlin the Magic Mouse and Second Banana come against a heckler hound during their magic show. So, they use their magic tricks to win him over. Merlin the Magic Mouse and Second Banana, two characters from Looney Tunes, are property of Warner Bros. —- Merlin the Magic Mouse was a renowned magician in the small community of Burbank, California. He was known for his quick wit and clever tricks, but most of all for his voice and mannerisms that were similar to the famous comedian W.C. Fields. He had a loyal sidekick, Second Banana, a young mouse who had always dreamed of becoming a magician himself. Together, they performed at the local stage theater, much to the delight of the audience. It was the year 1968 and the theater was packed with eager spectators, waiting to be amazed by Merlin's magic. As he made his grand entrance, riding on a magic carpet, the audience erupted into cheers and applause. Second Banana followed closely behind, carrying a large trunk filled with props and gadgets. Merlin took his place on the stage, adjusting his top hat and straightening his bow tie. Second Banana scurried around, setting up the stage for their first trick. Suddenly, a loud and obnoxious voice interrupted their preparations. 'Boo! Get off the stage!' yelled Harold, a heckler hound who had snuck into the theater. Merlin furrowed his brow and turned to Second Banana. 'Uh, Second Banana, my boy. I think we've got ourselves a heckler hound here,' he said, with a sly grin. 'You said it, Merlin,' replied Second Banana, with a mischievous twinkle in his eye. The two of them exchanged a quick nod and a plan unfolded in their minds. They would not let this heckler hound ruin their show. Instead, they would turn it into a comedic battle of wit and magic. Merlin began his first trick, pulling a rabbit out of his hat. However, as he reached in, instead of a rabbit, he pulled out a large carrot. The audience erupted into laughter, but Harold was not amused. 'That's not funny!' he shouted, throwing popcorn at the stage. Merlin simply smiled and continued with his act, ignoring Harold's heckling. He made Second Banana disappear in a puff of smoke, only to reappear moments later in the audience, much to the surprise of the spectators. Harold tried to heckle again, but this time, Second Banana pulled out a small wand and waved it in the hound's direction. With a flick of the wrist, Harold was turned into a giant balloon animal, floating above the audience. The audience roared with laughter and Merlin and Second Banana took a bow. However, Harold was not one to give up easily. He popped the balloon and landed on the stage, determined to ruin the show. 'Enough of this nonsense!' he barked. 'I demand a real magic trick!' Merlin and Second Banana exchanged a look of determination. They were not going to let Harold ruin their show. Merlin pulled out a deck of cards and began his next trick. He shuffled the deck and asked Harold to pick a card. As Harold reached for a card, Second Banana snuck up behind him and tied his shoelaces together. Harold picked his card and Merlin asked him to show it to the audience. However, as he tried to stand up, he stumbled and fell, revealing his ridiculous tied shoelaces. The audience burst into laughter once again, but this time, Harold couldn't help but join in. Realizing that he had been outsmarted, Harold let out a howl of laughter and joined Merlin and Second Banana on stage. The three of them performed a final trick together, making a giant cake appear out of thin air. As the audience gave them a standing ovation, Merlin and Second Banana took a bow. Harold, now a friend rather than a heckler, joined them on stage and they all took a final bow together. The show was a success, thanks to Merlin's quick thinking and Second Banana's clever antics. As they walked off stage, the two of them couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of the situation. 'Well, Second Banana, it looks like we've made a new friend,' said Merlin, with a smile. 'Indeed we have, Merlin,' replied Second Banana, with a grin. 'And a hilarious one at that.' From that day on, Merlin, Second Banana, and Harold performed together, much to the delight of the audience. They had become an unlikely trio, who not only entertained the crowds, but also taught them a valuable lesson - sometimes, the best way to deal with a heckler is to turn them into a friend.
